The sun shines on Minehead

This year’s long, hot summer gave Minehead the chance to shine – along with the sun. And visitors gave the resort and its seafront attractions a big thumbs-up.Minehead Visitor Centre is reporting great feedback on the new website: www.mineheadbay.co.ukwhile the open-air seafront gallery was particularly popular. They also received lots of comments regard the Maritime Mile trail, that provides information about Minehead’s heritage and that the children enjoyed following the sea-shells, proving to be a hit with visitors.A range of partners are working on the Enterprising Minehead initiative with the first projects put in place for the summer. More schemes to raise Minehead’s profile are in the pipeline.
